Short essay on stealing

Stealing is the act of taking procession of another person’s property and using them as one’s own. The properties in this case include both tangible property and intangible materials such as ideas. Stealing takes various forms depending on the one committing the crime, the time stealing takes place and how the crime is carried out.

Examples of forms of stealing include robbery, shoplifting, looting, and mugging. The first reason why stealing is wrong is because stealing causes suffering to the ones who lose their properties. Not only does stealing lead to physical harm to the affected person, but it also lead to emotional suffering.

Some people have received simple fines, community service, and jail terms among others. Stealing is usually prohibited in the society. Thieves typically face negative consequences in the community including loss of trust between the members of the society and objection by the family members.

You can help the store in trying to stop shoplifting by just never stealing from a store and also if you see someone shoplifting you can tell an employee. You have you remember that even though you think it’s fine it can cause a lot more trouble than it’s worth so you just never steal and everything will be alright.
